Happy Birthday to Melvin!! Our birthday boy had the awesome privilege of sharing about God’s choice to love us this morning at PHS. I was really struck by what he said about how, as he looks back on his 28 years of life, he wishes he could have done more, and made better choices in some situations. Kind of like this next song.

Haha that was supposed to be a PUN, first POST, POST Gmss (after GMSS). Oh dear, i obviously have a lack of sleep from not being used to waking so early!

Anyway, I don’t exactly blog in a very systematic way, but I guess this makes this more authentic, like I’m REALLY sitting at the table typing this like any ordinary person, without thinking about vetting my words or anything, not having a particular topic to blog about, so here goes!

It was a wonderful time at GMSS, and even at RP that day (: GMSS left a more indelible mark on me though, because it was my first time giving a sharing (TALKING) there, and honestly, it’s pretty much like a physical proof of a miracle. Yes I am a living breathing miracle of God! I shared a little with the band the other day, but here’s more:) Being on stage and talking to the public isn’t actually something i used to like when i was younger. In fact, i reeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllly freaked out on stage, the world would be a complete tsunami i think. Ok i’m exaggerating, but i was really really shy when i was younger. Telling my story reminded me of how far God has journeyed with me cos over the years He has moulded me to pull me out of my shell and be bold in Him He’s so awesome. And i can pretty much say that I actually love sharing my stories in public now, because I want people to see that God is REAL AND LOVING and His grace has allowed me to stand up there smiling and with so much of His love and peace Betcha didn’t guess i started like thhaaaat

You know, if you’re reading this and you watched us at GMSS, or even RP, i’d love if you leave a comment or anything, talk to us! The other day while thinking of the music and stories we’d share with you guys, I was like ‘GOSH how come i haven’t even met them but i really can say that i feel for them and already care for them and want them to be blessed by us and touched by God!’ And the funny thing is, God reminded me that His love is like that- He knew us even BEFORE we were born, when we didn’t know Him, when we hadn’t seen Him.. when we’d been little tumbling children who only knew Jesus as a random character in a sunday school story book, HE FIRST LOVED US.

i realli thank GOD for you all GMSS students that came to our gig… as much as it is sort of  like it is part of your timetable.. haha.. but yea.. withour you guys.. this gig will come to nothing….yeap…. We are all beri friendly people.. haha.. so feel free to comment on our blog….   =)
